Award winning digital campaign

In 2018 MTS launched a  new product helping the users to stay safe online. The main problem was many people in Russia didn’t realize how dangerous viruses and frauds were. So they never used any tools to protect themselves.  So we «hacked» the whole internet to make make everyone change their mind.
We put a bunch attractive banners on the most popular news sites. When you clicked on them the whole site «crashed» in a few seconds and then the hacker in a mask appeared to tell you should’ve been more careful on the internet.
The same «hack» took place in popular groups on social media and on IG bloggers’ accounts. After the «crash» the user was redirected to a safety product landing page where they could get a subscription and learn more about cyber safety.
